Combilift has big plans for 2022

Martin Schrüfer,

"Achieving environmental goals and driving growth"

"2021 exceeded most expectations and there will be more demand for FTZs and AGVs in 2022 due to increasing e-commerce and demand for industrial goods. Commercial real estate availability has reached an all-time low as the economy looks to consolidate the supply chain. The increasing focus on sustainability is encouraging companies to optimize existing premises rather than build new ones. A reason for Combilift to launch two new electric models in 2021: a unique narrow aisle order picker for warehouse operations - the Aisle Master OP - and the multidirectional Combi-XLE with all-wheel traction for tough outdoor use. Our range of space-saving, solution-oriented vehicles, together with our free warehouse layout service, will help our customers achieve their environmental goals while driving growth.

Despite the supply chain challenges we are all facing, I am convinced that the economic outlook for 2022 in the material handling industry is very positive. Storage space is scarce, demand for FFZs has been high in recent months and Combilift's order books are very full for the first quarter of 2022. From a business perspective, I am very optimistic that 2022 will be another record year.

The survey was published in materialfluss WELT DER INTRALOGISTIK (December 2021, first part) and materialfluss 1-2/22 (second part).
