New sensor from Bosch Rexrodt monitors all hydraulic valves
Forklift trucks, truck-mounted cranes or lifting platforms: Wherever people work directly with powerful technology when handling goods, increased safety regulations apply worldwide. One of the basic requirements is to monitor the status of hydraulic valves, for example to prevent the boom from

of a crane swings out too far. Rexroth's sensor offers reliable monitoring and considerable savings potential. The new sensor for directional and control valves from Rexroth detects whether the valve coil is in the neutral or working position without contact and therefore wear-free. This information is important for standard-compliant safety circuits and opens up new diagnostic possibilities. Users can use this type of sensor to monitor all hydraulic valves in a mobile or stationary application. The compact sensor, which is mounted directly on the valve, detects every movement of the valve coil and reports the neutral position or the working position as well as the direction of movement to the control unit.
