Schmalz at the Fachpack
Grippers and gantries for your workpieces
Vacuum expert Schmalz will be showcasing "Handling Solutions for your Packages" at Fachpack and providing individual support to the packaging industry every step of the way. New is the 4.5 fold high bellows suction pad FSGC, which can be adapted to different workpiece contours.
Visitors can see another new suction gripper in action on a robot. The combination of a soft sealing lip and stable bellows allows it to securely grip thin bags filled with liquid. Right next to the fixed robot cell, the ZLW lightweight layer gripper demonstrates how it lifts layers of cans, jars or cardboard boxes weighing up to 20 kilograms at a time. Depending on the configuration, it weighs between four and 14 kilograms and is suitable for integration into lightweight robots. For manual handling, Schmalz will be presenting its Jumboflex picker and the new KBG crane gantry.
