New system for zero pressure accumulation conveying up to 1,500 kilograms
Together with drive technology specialist MTA Systems GmbH from Perg in Austria, Binder GmbH from Burgstetten near Stuttgart has developed a new accumulating roller conveyor for loads of up to 1,500 kilograms. Electromechanically, it is now possible to move pallets and pallet cages without accumulation pressure in single or bulk trains. The new FCD 40 motor controller with its intelligent control technology independently enables single or block discharge as well as single and block infeed without the need to integrate a PLC. One advantage of the new technology is that the smooth start-up enables gentle transportation. Drive parts are only subjected to low loads and wear less quickly. Not only pallets, but also pallet cages and loading aids with similar base designs can be conveyed.
