Vacuum tube lifter

Daniel Schilling,

Individual conveyor technology

Torwegge will be showcasing various conveyor technology solutions from its product portfolio at this year's LogiMAT. Among other things, the system provider for internal material flow will be showcasing its well-known FlexO rollers. The components are characterized by numerous customization options. The company will also be exhibiting a model of the Force-Lift vacuum tube lifter for handling all types of goods weighing up to 75 kilograms at its stand. Unlike comparable products, the device adapts to the operator's behavior and can be controlled intuitively.

"As an integrated system partner for customized material flow systems, we are looking forward to presenting Torwegge technology live to visitors to our stand at LogiMAT and giving them the opportunity to talk directly to our intralogistics experts," says Frank Hilbrich, Managing Director of Torwegge. The intralogistics specialist will also be presenting various individual components that can be used to optimize the internal material flow. "Sometimes it's the smallest parts in the system that make the biggest difference. We therefore have various components from transport, conveyor and handling technology in our range, which we combine according to our customers' requirements to create an efficient material flow system," says the Managing Director.

One of the highlights at the trade fair stand will be the FlexO rollers specially developed by Torwegge, which can be configured individually and to customer specifications. This means that the conveyor technology components can be used in almost any area. They are designed by the Bielefeld-based company on a modular basis so that they can be produced cost-effectively even in small quantities. The wheel body is made of durable polyamide and can be fitted with various ball or plain bearings. Various axle hole diameters as well as different degrees of hardness and load capacities can be selected. The components can be used both in roller rails and in user-specific designs.

New vacuum tube lifter

Since last year, Torwegge has also had a new vacuum tube lifter in its range, the Force-Lift, which will also be exhibited at LogiMAT. The device is developed and produced by cooperation partner Aero-Lift Vakuumtechnik. "The Force-Lift is both high-quality and innovative and therefore fits perfectly into our range. Its biggest advantage is its handling, which allows both left- and right-handed operators to move heavy goods effortlessly," says Hilbrich.

Intuitive controls and ergonomic design

In addition to the intuitive controls, the device is characterized above all by its performance. With the tube lifter, goods weighing up to 75 kilograms can be lifted, fixed and moved with just one hand. According to the manufacturer, this makes it one of the most powerful of its kind. Thanks to these features, the tube lifter can be used for a wide range of applications in shipping, warehousing and industry. The ergonomic design also relieves the strain on employees.
