Crane technology: Konecranes presents solutions for material handling
Konecranes will present its latest Industrial Service and Equipment products at Logimat. Konecranes has pioneered safer, more productive and more sustainable material handling equipment.
A new crane concept (wire rope hoist) will be presented with a robust and compact hoist that can lift loads of up to 20 tons. This revolutionary crane combines pioneering design and state-of-the-art technology that is not only safe, compact and reliable, but also easily adaptable to the needs of the user.
Precise lifting with stepless control
Developed with user-friendliness in mind - stepless control and smart features mean safer and more precise lifting. The new radio control with integrated display offers operators more freedom of movement and useful information at the touch of a button. The special feature of the new crane is the new hoist from the Konecranes S series wire rope hoist with a low overall height.
New workplace cranes presented
This compact but powerful hoist features excellent approach dimensions and smooth, stepless lifting with a load-sensing hoist motor, resulting in an optimal user experience and shorter cycle times. Visitors will also be introduced to the latest Konecranes workstation cranes, in particular the Konecranes KBK modular crane system, which is designed for dynamic material handling and high-frequency use and meets the demanding requirements of workstations and production lines, with loads ranging from 80 to 3,200 kilograms.
Also new at Logimat is an EX electric chain hoist for Zone 1 and 2 gas-hazardous environments and Zone 21 dust-hazardous areas. This new ATEX and IECEx-certified hoist is designed for safe and efficient lifting.
