Schoeller Allibert's new
New version of reusable plastic containers
The Magnum Optimum plastic container from Schoeller Allibert is now available in a new version - Magnum Optimum 1125. The collapsible container is suitable for transporting dry bulk goods at temperatures from -20 to +40 degrees Celsius. Optimizing transport routes, saving costs and protecting the environment - these were the requirements when developing the new Magnum Optimum 1125. The result: when empty, the space requirement of the foldable large load carrier is reduced by 73 percent. Up to 40 percent less storage space is required for empty return transports, as a standard trailer can hold up to 52 boxes when erected and up to 208 boxes when folded.
With a base area of 1,210 x 1,000 millimetres and a height of 1,125 millimetres, the new model offers a very large volume in relation to its weight of 57 kilograms - the capacity is 1,007 liters and the maximum load capacity is 500 kilograms. Thanks to the reinforced base, the container can carry a static stacking load of 2,200 kilograms. Logistics specialists can stack up to ten units on top of each other in the warehouse, depending on the load.
The plastic container is suitable for almost all industrial sectors and the modular system has various inserts for different bulk materials. Recessed areas for barcode labels and marking plates for customer logos on all sides, an ID plate on the base with height and handling information and the option of attaching RFID labels or IoT devices facilitate labeling and identification.
Model 1125 is shelf-ready and consists of standard elements that are connected to each other using a special locking system from Schoeller Allibert. The precisely manufactured side panels and smooth inner and outer surfaces mean that one person can assemble and clean the container in seconds. The plastic is resistant and durable, and the Magnum Optimum 1125 can be fully recycled once the minimum service life of ten years has been reached.
The containers are equipped with sensors to enable assets to be linked to an intelligent network via Schoeller Allibert's SmartLink technology. This allows deliveries to be monitored in real time and any transport bottlenecks to be predicted. Anyone wishing to rent containers from the Magnum Optimum series can use SmartLink to manage their own "pool" and visualize supply chains.
