Large load carrier
Small parts under control with the hopper
With the hopper from the Magnum Optimum series, Schoeller Allibert has a foldable large load carrier for small parts such as lids or closures in its range. A special hopper base makes it possible to remove components evenly and in a controlled manner.
The new Magnum Optimum Hopper is a reusable large load carrier (GLT) for small plastic parts, such as caps and lids, which are used in the beverage industry, for example. Among other things, it makes it possible to provide the right quantity of these components in production in order to close freshly filled bottles, jars or pots, Schoeller Allibert kills three birds with one stone with the GLT, or more precisely: with a 350x220 millimeter base opening. This can be opened and closed steplessly with a manually operated slider.
Uniform removal
The user can remove the required quantities evenly and in controlled amounts. With a tilting device, the GLT can also be emptied all at once. One employee is all it takes to fold and set up the new container from Schoeller Allibert. Thanks to its smooth double-wall construction, it is easy to clean and water can drain away easily. This also makes it a suitable large-volume container for sectors with strict hygiene standards, such as the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetics industries.
More usable volume
Thanks to its two Optiframes and the hopper base with slider, the Magnum Optimum Hopper remains within the ISO pallet dimensions of 1,200x1,000 millimetres. Depending on the wall height, it has a capacity of up to 958 liters. It therefore offers ten percent more usable volume than comparable GLTs. The hopper can also be stacked when loaded (load capacity of 500 kilograms, a dynamic load of 1,500 kilograms). When empty, the containers can be folded to around a third of their volume. This saves storage and return transportation costs and reducesCO2 emissions.
