Pallet umbrella organization EPAL parts ways with CEO Martin Leibrandt
Düsseldorf. Somewhat surprisingly, the European Palet Association e.V. (EPAL) announced on July 18 that it had parted ways with its CEO, Martin Leibrandt .
The Board of Directors and the General Assembly of the European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL) have therefore decided to end the collaboration as of June 30. "The EPAL Board will decide on a successor in due course. Until then, the President of EPAL, Robert Holliger, and the Vice-President, Dirk Hoferer, together with the Deputy CEO, Claudia Töller, will take over the management of EPAL," reads the somewhat meagre press release, which also omits the usual thanks to the departing member and the obligatory good wishes for the future. At the same time as leaving EPAL, Martin Leibrandt's work as Managing Director of Gütegemeinschaft Paletten e.V. (GPAL), the German national committee, is also coming to an end.
