Lean and Green Star for Chep Germany
Chep, a provider of pallet and container pooling services, has been recognized for its success in climate protection. Chep received the award from GS1 Germany at the ECR Day. In the first stage, the "Lean and Green" initiative recognizes companies that are committed to climate protection. If the goal of reducing CO2 emissions by at least 20 percent within five years is achieved, certification with the Lean and Green Star beckons. Having already been awarded the "Gold Recognition Level" by EcoVadis this year, Chep was once again able to demonstrate its ambitions: GS1 Germany confirmed that Chep's plan has reduced CO2 emissions by 20 percent.
