Fraport joins start-up lab for logistics "HAUS61"

Fraport AG is a new partner of the Frankfurt logistics start-up lab "HAUS61". From April, up to six logistics start-ups will be developing innovations for air freight under one roof.

The aim of "Haus61" is to bring together start-ups and established companies from the logistics sector. Workshops are designed to convey practical content, while pitches provide space for feedback and exchange. This will enable more joint innovations for freight and logistics to be developed at the Rhine-Main location in future. Max Philipp Conrady, Head of Cargo Development and Management at Fraport AG, explains: "As a partner, we can contribute our own project ideas and implement them together with the start-ups. This gives us an early insight into innovations. As Europe's largest cargo airport, we benefit from this". The "HAUS61" start-up lab was founded by the software company CargoSteps. CargoSteps is supported as a start-up by the state of Hesse and the House of Logistics & Mobility itself. In 2017, the company won the Frankfurt Start-up Award.
