Barig supports the "Logistics heroes" image campaign
The logistics sector is often underestimated by the public. With the "Logistics Heroes" campaign, the new initiative "Die Wirtschaftsmacher" is raising awareness. The Board of Airline Representatives in Germany e.V. (Barig) is now one of the supporters.
To mark the campaign, employees from various areas of the industry are presented on posters, advertisements, on the Internet and on social media channels, with comprehensible, clear statements and facts about their performance in everyday life.
"Our airlines from the air freight, passenger and tourism sectors, as well as our business partners, are an important part of logistics in Germany and the world," says Barig Secretary General Michael Hoppe. "Skilled workers, innovative concepts, digitalization and modern structures are among the current topics in our industry. That is why we are committed to this campaign for more recognition and a more positive image of logistics, which is so important for Germany as a business location and now employs over three million people."
