German premiere for FTS
Adept Technology, leading manufacturer of intelligent robots and autonomous, mobile robot solutions, is presenting the Adept Lynx Cart Transporter, an intelligent driverless transport system with a payload of 130 kilograms, for the first time in Germany at LogiMAT. It can be used to transport small,
mobile carts can be transported to a pick-up and unloading position. The versatile applications include replenishing stocks, moving flow racks, transporting unfinished products between the individual work steps and transporting finished goods to the warehouse. The Lynx Cart Transporter has a navigation system that enables autonomous path finding within the system. No changes to the infrastructure are necessary. The Lynx Cart Transporter is safe to operate even with existing door elements and busy aisles, as its sensors enable it to detect people, forklift trucks and other objects in its path. Key benefits of the Adept Lynx Cart Transporter include automatic cart location and detection, autonomous navigation, safe operation, vertical laser sensors for obstacle avoidance and the ability to automatically pick up carts at their respective locations.
