Flexible mini AGV conveyor line with automatic storage cube

In an increasingly complex production world, Storojet presents an innovative further development of its specially developed system for overcoming the challenges of modern manufacturing processes. Originally designed as an automated small parts warehouse, this highly modular system has developed into a modular alternative in production automation and scores highly in terms of flexibility and cost efficiency.

Storojet was originally developed to meet the requirements of automated storage and picking of small parts. The extremely flexible and modular shelving system, which can be installed at heights of up to 12 meters, transports goods carriers up to 90 centimetres long to the picking stations in combination with small autonomous storage robots.

The system is now being used successfully by several customers and represents a genuine alternative in the field of heterogeneous small parts automation. Through years of research and extensive testing, Storojet has evolved and is now ready to revolutionize the production landscape. Storojet not only serves as an automated small parts warehouse, but also as a highly flexible mini AGV conveyor belt replacement that offers freely plannable and flexibly configurable travel paths for the transportation of production goods.

Modular principle for AGV routes

Storojet enables the transportation of production goods using mini AGVs via freely plannable and flexibly deployable routes based on the modular principle. These mini AGVs are capable of coupling trailers with individual superstructures and moving them freely. For locations where stationary manipulators are too expensive, mobile manipulators can be transported by Storojet. The direct connection option from the automated small parts warehouse enables the smooth provision of materials and semi-finished or finished products as required. This is particularly valuable for production processes that require maximum flexibility down to batch size 1.

The future of production automation

Storojet offers easy-to-connect software that takes over the control of mini AGVs and lifts. This allows production managers and engineers to efficiently control their manufacturing processes without having to worry about technical details relating to storage and transportation. With the help of an uncomplicated programming interface, it enables smooth integration into existing processes. With the software, the user has full control over the management of the goods to be moved and only has to specify which load carrier is to be provided at which exact location. The manipulators are controlled precisely and efficiently with a sub-millimeter spatial resolution of +/-0.2 degrees.

Just like the automated small parts warehouse, the production automation application can also be expanded during operation and can even be used across halls. The networked production machines can be accessed at any time thanks to fold-up bridges. Storojet has its origins in the world of automated small parts warehouses, but has developed into a flexible and ultra-modern solution for production automation.
