As a Smart Move, the individually automated vehicles then leave the production facilities to support customers in optimizing their manufacturing processes. EK Automation has fully automated more vehicles than any other provider to date, with over 1,000 series-produced industrial trucks in a wide range of industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive, healthcare, food & beverage, plastics & packaging and many more. The Smart Move range comprises seven vehicle types with thirteen models and many mast configurations. The AGV professional is now presenting three new variants of the automated industrial trucks.

The updated series from the Smart Move product portfolio include the Smart Move AC06-16 counterbalance truck, which enables load transfers at heights of up to 4 m, and the Smart Move T30 low lift pallet truck, which is also available with double-length forks for transporting 2 pallets and a total weight of 3,000 kg. The Smart Move P40/60C tractor, which has also been revised and has a permissible trailer load of 4,000 or 6,000 kg, is now equipped with EK hybrid navigation as standard. Hybrid navigation, which offers the option of switching between three navigation technologies within one application, makes EK's automation "unique". According to EK, steering by laser navigation purely on the basis of natural environmental features, using reflectors or via additional magnetic navigation, distinguishes EK as a technology leader. All vehicles in the Smart Move series are equipped with lithium-ion batteries and automatic battery charging.
