Presentation of the German Logistics Award:

The winner of the BVL German Logistics Award 2017 is Bosch. The project is characterized by a cross-company approach and exemplary consistency. Instead of just optimizing individual supply chain segments, logistics at Bosch has undergone a fundamental change process within four years under the guiding principle of "Striving for Supply Chain Excellence", taken on a new role within the company and achieved impressive results in terms of total cost of ownership (TCO). The main focus of this change is the increasing connectivity via the Internet of Things (IoT).
