The guest of honor at the gala was Prof. Klaus-Michael Kühne, President of the Kühne Foundation, and former German President Joachim Gauck. He encouraged the congress participants and the employees of the logistics sector, who work in a rapidly changing field of work, not to be overwhelmed by technology. "We will not be without work, but we must be ready for new forms of work," said Gauck and continued: "We need the courage to make ourselves competent - even against our own internal resistance."
