Logistics Science Award 2017:

The Logistics Science Award went to Dr. Sebastian Rank and the Chair of Technical Logistics, Dresden University of Technology, headed by Prof. Dr. Thorsten Schmidt, for their work entitled "Elimination of negative effects of autocorrelated processes at mergers". Sebastian Rank studied industrial engineering at TU Dresden and is a research assistant there. He already received the BVL Thesis Award in 2012.
