According to the latest mmb industry monitor "E-Learning Economy 2021", digital learning continues to flourish during the pandemic. In the first year of coronavirus, the booming industry is continuing its successful course of previous years with growth of 16.2% compared to the previous year.

WEKA MEDIA is one of the top 10 German e-learning providers. In the last five years, the Kissingen-based media company has more than tripled its e-learning turnover to over 9.4 million euros. "We are very pleased that we are so successful in this growing market," says WEKA Managing Director Michael Bruns, "because it confirms that we are on the right track with our digital learning products. With our wide range of different standard learning solutions, we can provide our customers with practical training!"

For example, with the online training platform ELUCYDATE, which was recently awarded the grade "very good" by the eLearning Journal. This offers companies and their employees concentrated and user-oriented knowledge in up to 100 modular courses for modern and self-organized learning. Or with the WEKA safety instructions - be it with the WebTrainers or the new video-based safety clips - on topics relating to occupational health and safety, data protection, compliance or electrical safety.

WEKA MEDIA focuses on the business segment "Providing digital learning content and e-learning courses" - the dominant business segment in the e-learning industry in terms of revenue for years: 35.8 percent of total e-learning revenue in Germany was realized in this area according to the mmb Industry Monitor 2020. WEKA MEDIA is among the top 5 here. "Our core business is primarily product-related," says Bruns. "Our strength is that, as a traditional media company, we offer a wide range of reliable, high-quality, up-to-date multimedia content on a wide variety of topics. We can therefore also provide our customers with customized products and services very quickly on a project-specific basis. And it is precisely this flexibility that enables us to drive forward the growth momentum in the e-learning sector so successfully."

WEKA MEDIA GmbH & Co. KG is one of Germany's leading media companies in the business-to-business and business-to-government sectors, offering specialists and managers a wide range of practical solutions for their day-to-day work in areas such as occupational safety, architecture, construction, data protection and management. The spectrum of products and services ranges from software, online and print products to e-learning offers, seminars and key account solutions.
WEKA MEDIA is a company of the pan-European WEKA Group. The media companies managed under the umbrella of the WEKA Group employ over 1,400 people and generated sales of around 222.5 million euros in 2020.
