High-lift trucks: New wide-track models from Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks is expanding its range of wide-track models: The company is adding wide-track versions to its driver's stand, driver's seat and platform highlift trucks.
According to the manufacturer, more items can be stored in the same space with the AXiA high lift pallet trucks in wide-track design than with a counterbalance truck. The compact dimensions of the AXiA high lift pallet trucks also allow them to be used in narrow aisle widths.
New high lift truck models with wide track
According to the manufacturer, the 1.6-2.0 ton wide-track models are more flexible than normal pallet trucks when it comes to picking up and transporting goods. The AXiA EX with wide track can be equipped with various attachments such as mandrels, clamps and rotators. The wheel arms are also available in special widths. Their load capacity and lifting height make them an alternative for narrow or reach trucks: 2.0 tons and a lifting height of up to seven metres are possible.
AXiA XL: the further development of AXiA EX
The AXiA XL is equipped with wheel arms and a hydraulic telescopic fork. Telescopic forks can be used for double-deep storage. This increases the pallet storage capacity by up to 30 percent. Another advantage: trucks can also be unloaded completely from one side.
Focus on safety: closed chassis, protective roof and intelligent safety functions
The operators of the AXiA stand-on and sit-on pallet trucks stand inside a closed chassis under a protective roof. Functions such as the Intelligent Cornering System and the Enhanced Stability System further increase safety.
New wide-track option for AXiA EM platform pallet trucks
Another addition to the Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks product range: the new wide-track models in the AXiA EM drawbar-guided platform truck series. These are available with a folding platform, fixed platform with rear entry and fixed platform with side entry and have a load capacity of 1.6 tons. According to the manufacturer, they are ideal for rack filling, order picking and simple transportation.
