Herma at the Fachpack 2024
Labelers: New options for standard applications
Herma is presenting the Herma eco labeler for many standard applications at Fachpack. According to the supplier, the device combines cost-effectiveness and high-quality features with a high level of design and processing quality in this segment.
The company emphasizes value retention, longevity and investment security, even in the entry-level segment. Herma eco is produced on the same production line as the more powerful Herma 500 in Filderstadt and comes with new features. According to the company, its integration into a packaging system and thus into a higher-level control system (PLC) is more extensive and convenient than ever before in this Herma performance class.
This is ensured, for example, by a series of additional I/O signals. They enable automatic power on/power off, separate start of the labeling process and manual pre-dispensing via the system control, which is an advantage when setting up a labeler. It is also possible to check the end of the tape. In future, the printer and peel-off unit will have separate connections that can be controlled separately.
