Premieres for wire rope hoist and chain hoist

Rope hoist, chain hoist, Demag KBK light crane system: Demag will be presenting new products in each of the three product areas at Logimat. The first model of the new DHR rope hoist series, which was developed for standardized applications in crane technology, will be on display at the stand.

For the first time, users can choose between a steel cable and an alternative with synthetic rope. The new DHR wire rope hoists are characterized by compact dimensions and high performance with a minimum of servicing. The motor and gearbox are easily accessible. On the drive side, the proven Dual Drive concept from the DMR series has been implemented.

Chain hoist: new DC-II series

The introduction of a new series of chain hoists is also imminent: the DC chain hoist, which has been a global success for exactly 20 years, will be gradually replaced by the DC-II series from 2024. It will have all the positive features of the DC series: for example, extensive equipment packages that are already standard and a high level of safety thanks to 24 V contactor control, operating limit switches and an operating hours counter. The new features include additional lifting speeds, an improved chain drive, a slightly reduced dead weight and more precise adjustment options for the slipping clutch.

With the introduction of the DC-II series, preconfigured chain hoists in sizes 2 to 10 will initially be available from stock. This will be followed by the gradual replacement of all sizes and designs - until the DC-II portfolio is ultimately as comprehensive as the DC series is today.
